Just a quick post - this is Sara and my mom, taken at her nursing home in California on 6/22/11. The activity for that day was "Sing with Rex." This was Rex singing the ABC song to them.
Ken, that is very dear. I'm so glad you did that and video taped it. This will be good for Sarah to remember her grandmother by. Bless you my boy! You're one of the good guys in this world.
I can see that Bett is deteriorating. Must have been hard for you.
Yes. It's a bit hard to watch this, but I realize its importance. One of the reasons I wanted to get this posted up here as soon as possible was because I wanted to have a backup just in case our hard drive were to crash. This could be the last video we have of her.
Her condition was better than I thought. She seemed like her normal self, and most of her faculties are still intact.
Yes, I was surprised to see her in a wheelchair. Can you put the video on one of those small things that plugs into the computer, like what people put their resumes on and carry in their pockets? Some kind of little tiny disk.
