Pictures from the annual Austin Kite Festival on Sunday 3/6/11. Part of the festival was dedicated to the Taiwanese, as you can see from all the Taiwan flags flying around. The event might have benefited if there had been some wind, but most of the kites (including ours) only managed to stay airborne for a few seconds.
