Here are a few extra pictures from our road trip to Washington D.C. Not sure I can handle this sort of road trip every year. I think next year we'll probably fly somewhere. When I was a kid, my parents used to take us on quite a few road trips, but then later on we only went to Las Vegas, which was a pretty short drive from Los Angeles. Now I understand why.
You got some neat pictures and memories. But I understand about a long road trip. You need time, and it isn't easy with kids anyway.
ReplyDeleteThe great thing is that your children will barely remember any of it, and by the time they are old enough to appreciate such trips, you will be in the poor house, paying $50,000 for aspirin.
ReplyDeleteSara will probably remember it, but not Kyle. I remember lots of stuff when I was 7. The only thing I remember when I was 5 years old was watching "Jaws" at a drive in theater and falling asleep. I also remember having a teachers aide in Kindergarten that had a robotic arm. That's about it.
ReplyDeleteWhen Chien Yu and I realize that we cannot retire in the US without becoming homeless, we will go back to Taiwan.
